i wonder how many movies chow yun fat actually has. on those few days or nights when i decide not to surf the net or blog or check w@w mails, i actually become a couch potato. and i just realized that whenever i watch cable and approach the foreign channels, i will always see chow yun fat. chow young, chow not so young, chow bald, chow with short hair, chow with long hair, chow thin, chow (yun) fat, etc etc. the list is endless. one night, after again spotting chow in yet another film, i asked schmuck: "how many fucking movies does this guy have?!" it was meant to be a rhetorical question, but he answered me anyway: "about a thousand plus!" i was dumbfounded, and for a moment, speechless. and i said, "and what? about a thousand of those are B movies?!" no offense to the chow fans out there!

schmuck has wierd toes. none of you would know that (unless you're family) but i'm sharing this with you now. i swear, his toes probably have biceps and triceps. they are so frigging strong, they can actually hurt a grown man. believe me, his toes have attempted to "pinch" me several times and its power is amazing! i wonder if we can make money out of his wierd toes...it would make for additional wedding funds.

i've been working for almost 8 years now and i have absolutely no savings. nada. zilch. ka-put. it's pathetic! am i THAT terrible with my finances? a rhetorical question, peeps. no need to answer that one. and isn't it strange that no matter how many times you get a raise, you always say to yourself "ah, now i should be able to save that additional moola!" and yet, still find yourself with less than P100 in your wallet with a week to go before the next payday? one of the many mysteries of life, i believe. or in my life at least.

driving my way home from work a few nights ago, i was listening to the radio and the deejay said that a person with asymmetrical ears is more likely to have a bad temper...as compared to a person with symmetrical ears i suppose? interesting. something about being exposed to more stress while they were in the womb. wow. prenatal stress and its effect on a person's temper. amazing. without even looking in the mirror, i know i have asymmetrical ears. schmuck too.

speaking of radio, a few months back, i also heard the deejay give the top 10 stinkiest hollywood actors. you know who tops the list? no less than brad pitt. nope, i ain't shitting you. apparently, he feels that his good looks would more than compensate for his...uh...hygienic deficiencies. i'm sure with just the royalties from troy, brad pitt could buy himself some soap and deodorant, right? jeez. now i'm thinking, would i actually date a gorgeous man if i knew that he stank up a storm? can i hold my breath long enough to endure the night?

last saturday, schmuck and i attended the wedding of one of his highschool barkada. i find it silly that now, everytime we attend a wedding, i am taking note of each and every detail that is going on. what are they wearing? what material is that? what's her color motiff? does she have a theme? who made her wedding gown? what kind is her veil? are her flowers beautiful? what's her bridal car? how many bridesmaids does she have? where's the unity candle? which part in the ceremony are we at now? who's the photographer? does she have a choir or quartet?
all these were running through my head, and this was just at the church!
at the reception -- what's her centerpiece? who's the emcee? what's the programme like? what are her giveaways? how's the food? is there a lot of food? where's the wedding cake? who designed her wedding cake? what's the gimmick for the bouquet and garter toss? what else is in the programme?
weddings have never been so stressful!!!
